The Plate at Home is Chef Mokgadi's take on The Planetary health plate advocated by the Eat Lancet report for a plant-forward food system that is sustainable for the planet and for humans. For us to live a healthier life on the planet we need to change the way our daily plate looks. We need to consume 50% veg/ fruits, 25% wholegrains, 15% protein ( 13% plant based protein 2% animal protein) and 10% made up of dairy foods, unsaturated plant oils and sugars. The food plan is designed to make it convenient and easy for everyone to eat more plants in their daily lives in a delicious, easy and sustainable way
